Fabian Gomez wins Sony Open on the second sudden death playoff hole against Brandt Snedeker Sunday January 18, 2016 at Waialae Country Club in Oahu, HI.

He had been missing the 18th fairway all week with his tee shot, but for the second playoff hole he decided to hit a hybrid club off of the tee. His gamble turned out well, not only did he hit the 18th fairway, but got to the green in two and one putted for a birdie to claim the tournament win.
