Jordan Spieth lost the Masters Tournament Sunday at hole 12 when he carded a quad bogie 7 on the Par 3 hole known as The Golden Bell at Augusta National Golf Club.
Jordan accomplished this by putting his tee shot in the water. Taking a drop, then chunking another ball into the water. His next drop he hit into the back bunker. Took one to get out of the bunker then one putted for a 7.
With the lead he had that day at that time, all he needed to accomplish was getting it over the water and playable.
As much as it pains me to say it, Tiger would not have done that when he was at that point in his career. Sure Tiger could do it now that he has had multiple surgeries and is 40, but when he was in his early 20s you would now have seen two back to back chunks to loose a tournament, let alone the Masters Tournament.
